Cookie Policy
Cavalma Lifestyle uses a small, deliberate set of cookies and browser storage. This page lists what each one does and how to change your choices.

What we use, in plain terms
This site is deliberately light. Nothing is stored on your device beyond what is needed to run the site until you tell us otherwise, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
Strictly necessary
These cannot be switched off, because without them the site cannot work. Under Spanish law (Article 22.2 LSSI) they do not require consent.
- Authentication session: set by our authentication provider when you sign in, so you stay signed in across pages. Removed when you sign out.
- Consent record (cavalma.consent.v1): stores your cookie choices and their version in your browser's local storage, so we do not ask again on every page. Kept until you clear it or the policy version changes.
- Anonymous consent identifier (cavalma.anon.v1): a random identifier with no personal meaning, used to tie a consent decision to its record when you are not signed in.
- Security: short-lived server-side counters used for rate limiting abusive requests.
Analytics
Optional, off unless you allow it. No analytics cookie, script or advertising network runs on this site, and nothing is stored on your device for measurement. Separately from cookies, we do keep a simple first-party count of how often a published business listing is opened, so the business can see that its listing is read. That count holds no cookie, no address, no location and no identifier that can be traced back to you, and it is never used to profile you or to serve advertising.
Marketing
Optional, off unless you allow it. This category would cover measurement of campaigns and partner referrals. We do not currently set any marketing cookie, and no advertising network has access to this site. The switch exists so that, if that ever changes, nothing runs before you have agreed to it.
Preferences
Optional, off unless you allow it. Remembers convenience choices such as recently viewed listings. Purely functional and stored in your browser.
How consent is recorded
Your choice is stored in your browser and also written to our database against the policy version, the time, the page you were on and how you decided (banner, custom selection or account settings). If you are signed in the record is attached to your account, otherwise to the anonymous identifier above. This is how we can prove that consent was freely given, specific and informed, and it is kept for up to 24 months.
Rejecting non-essential categories is exactly as easy as accepting them: the banner offers 'Necessary only' and 'Accept all' side by side, and nothing beyond the necessary category is set before you choose.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your mind at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or from the privacy section of your account if you have one, where your full consent history is listed. Withdrawal is immediate and applies from that moment on. You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings, though removing the necessary items will sign you out and bring the banner back.
